Kia Ora Koutou 

Our amazing Room 1a whanau are four brilliant akonga aged between 5 and 14 years. Tamariki are supported by Matua Zac who is the classroom Kaiako, alongside Greg and Angela who are class kaiawhina.

Our class theme for 2023 is Aotearoa Histories . Tamariki have been visiting local places of significance including the Whakarewarewa Forest and walks at the bottom of Ngongotaha. Learning of significant places is also seen through art murals of Lake Rotorua, Mokoia Island and Kuirau Park.

Tamariki have regular time to progress their Individual Education Plans through a predictable and consistent classroom routine . All tamariki are visited by our amazing specialist team including our speech and language therapist Mandana and our occupational therapist Katarina .
